Book Signings A Go-Go!

Minnesota

I just got back from my annual pilgrimage to upper Minnesota to see my college pals for our Slugfest. As usual, it was the perfect combination of laying around (“slugging”), eating, drinking, laughing, crying, and getting out into the crisp, fall air. When I got back to Ohio (my Minnesota friends think I live “down south!”), I was so relieved that I hadn’t missed our beautiful fall.

The weather is gorgeous this October! Every morning lately, I start my gratitude journal with “thank you for this incredible weather.” It’s nature’s last gasp at celebrating color, warmth, and sunshine before the cold, harsh, gray reality of winter in northeast Ohio. It’s the perfect time of year for a drive out to charming Hudson, Ohio … come visit me there while I peddle my book at The Learned Owl, this Saturday, October 26th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This time of year is an absolute treasure!

If you’re up for an urban evening romp, come visit me down in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland at Visible Voice Books on Friday, November 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. and take part in Walkabout Tremont. There are so many fun bars, restaurants, and shops in the neighborhood … pop in and see me while on your walkabout!

I’m working on some December book signings … hit me up if you’re interested! (Books make great stocking stuffers.)

Back in Ohio

Coming up January 2025, I have been invited to read selections of my humble book at the local chapter of The P.E.O. Sisterhood - Philanthropic Educational Organization. I’ve got to admit, this one scared me. A lot. Until I started clicking around their website and found that their mission is simple: Where women motivate, educate and celebrate women. “Ok,” I thought. “I’m down!”

Last gasp of color in Ohio.

If you are in an organization that is looking for a speaker, give me a shout! I’d be thrilled to bring my WTF experience to you!

I’ll keep you posted on any other news … Now, go out and roll around in the confetti of leaves out there! Happy Fall! Hope to see you soon!

Love,

Mary
